The German Political Science Association (DGfP) and SW&D will once again be awarding the joint book prize „The Political Science Book“ in 2026.
The prize, endowed with €2,000, honours a monograph that provides new impetus for political science across disciplines and at the same time provides important impetus for public debate. An independent jury will select a work that has been published on the German book market in 2024 or 2025 by the summer of 2027. Self-applications and suggestions from DGfP members are welcome.
The closing date for entries is 01 March 2026.
