Advancing digitalisation poses new challenges for our democracy. In order to better understand and shape these challenges, SW&D, together with the Joachim Herz Foundation and the Mercator Foundation, is supporting the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (HIIG). This is an important contribution to independent research on the impact of the digital transformation on politics and society.
