The Portal for Political Science (pw-portal)<\/strong><\/a> is a central point of contact for well-founded reviews, interviews, analyses and event reports on political science topics in three main areas \"Foreign and security policy\"<\/strong><\/a>, \"Democracy and peace\"<\/strong><\/a> and \"Representation and parliamentarianism\"<\/strong><\/a>. These areas, which also reflect the foundation's thematic areas, are divided into a total of twelve categories with specific content. The offer is supplemented by the area \"The subject of political science\"<\/strong><\/a>which offers space for discussions on the self-image of political science.<\/p>

The aim is to show which practice-relevant explanations political science has to offer for current political events. The pw-portal not only offers academics a platform for their publications, but also enables interested citizens to find out about current research findings in order to better categorise the political developments of our time.<\/p>

All contributions to the portal are published under the Creative Commons licence (CC-BY-NC-SA) to ensure permanent and open access.<\/p>

The portal has its origins in the \"Annotated Bibliography for Political Science\", which provided a comprehensive overview of political science literature between 1996 and 2016. Even though the portal now focuses more on the new thematic specialisations, this content is still accessible via the search function in the portal's archive with over 40,000 reviews.<\/p>

With its wide range of services, the pw-portal builds a bridge between science, political practice and social debate - an indispensable resource for anyone who wants to better understand the complex political contexts of our time.<\/p>
