From now on, SIRIUS articles will be published individually online in advance - as an Ahead-of-Publication (AOP) or Just-Accepted format. This makes current analyses and research results available even more quickly without having to wait for the entire issue.
It starts with the article "How the strengthening of the Federal Security Council can succeed" by Thomas Horlohe. Just in time for 27 August, when the rules of procedure of the first National Security Council in the history of the Federal Republic of Germany are to be adopted, this first article in the upcoming issue of SIRIUS is already available online. It takes an academic look at the new body, categorises it in comparison to foreign models and discusses the resulting implications for German security and foreign policy.
