Since 2023, Sudan has been devastated by a new war that is raging with millions of displaced people, massive violence against the civilian population, forced starvation and destruction. Infrastructure and central government have collapsed, while international peace initiatives and sanctions have failed to stop the spiralling violence between the rival armed forces.
